Rusty Plus Raised Feeding Station, 2 x 1.5 L Bowls

The bowl on the floor is a compromise most homes make without noticing. This one doesn't ask you to.

Olive wood — finished with olive oil, no synthetic treatments — forms the platform, its grain shifting from pale straw to deep amber across each piece. The porcelain bowls sit cleanly within it, white and heavy, the kind that don't rattle. Four solid beech wood feet, lacquered black, lift the whole station to a height that eases the angle for dogs who feel it in their neck and shoulders. The materials are named, the finish considered, the geometry quiet.

It sits at the edge of the kitchen or just inside the back door, and it does not look like a concession. The wood will darken slightly with time and handling — the way good olive wood does — while the porcelain stays easy to lift out and wash. It belongs to the room without trying to disappear from it.
