Natural or OEKO-TEX certified fabrics, designer surplus fabrics from manufacturers like Kvadrat and Johanna Gullichsen
The dog will sleep where the dog sleeps. The question is what you're prepared to look at.
Studio Kanto works with natural and OEKO-TEX certified fabrics alongside designer surplus cloth sourced from manufacturers including Kvadrat and Johanna Gullichsen — materials that left those studios as offcuts and arrive here as something considered. The weaves are dense and quiet, the kind that hold their structure under daily weight and carry texture worth noticing. Small-batch production means no two beds share exactly the same cloth.
It sits in the room without announcing itself. Beside the sofa or under the window, it reads as furniture rather than concession — which is the closest most households ever get to having it both ways. The dog does not care about Kvadrat. The room does.
BEC has already claimed the corner by the radiator, which was not the plan.
