Each collar is made from cork oak bark shavings, compressed and finished with a vegan wax treatment that gives the surface a quietly supple hand. The material has a fine, close grain — warm to the touch, lighter than leather — and the wax finish helps it resist moisture and wear without stiffening over time. Two Dogs & Co is an independent brand; production is handcrafted in small runs.

It sits at the dog's neck the way a well-made belt sits at a waist: present, considered, unremarkable in the best sense. Cork develops a gentle patina with use, so the collar that comes back from six months of morning walks will look marginally better than the one that left.
